LKQ offers opportunities for growth, competitive benefits, and a supportive work environment focused on vehicle repair and customization. ## Key Responsibilities - Procure repairable/resalable goods (cars, wheels, lights, core products) from vendors and suppliers. - Maintain purchase manifests and supplier accounts, and verify manifest accuracy and paperwork. - Determine and plan daily routes and vendor visits; deliver payment to vendors. - Identify potential new customers, establish and maintain customer relationships to sustain quality and volume buys. - Maintain communication with leadership and peers regarding competitive situation, market conditions, and scheduling. - Assist leadership with negotiating pricing and purchase terms when needed. - Process orders and manage supplier relationships as required. - Inspect product for proof of ownership and attach title or certificate of disposal (CD) to agreements when applicable. - Load goods onto trucks or coordinate goods for shipment/transport, organize delivery and unloading of goods. - Assume other duties as assigned. ## Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - Minimum of 1+ years of related experience. - Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and drug test. - If driving vehicles over 10,001 GVWR, must have medical certification. - Must qualify for corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance. - Comprehensive knowledge of replacement parts for the aftermarket collision repair industry. - Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs. - Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and able to create and maintain spreadsheets and documents to support business objectives. - Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. ## Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience determining the resolvability of products purchased. - Forklift experience. - College coursework. ## Compensation & Benefits - Pay: $25.00 per hour. - Competitive benefits and opportunities for career growth in a large, global company. ## Additional Information - Position is 1st shift and full-time based at the Cincinnati, OH (1253 Cincinnati, OH - PYP) location. - Role may require periodic travel, including overnight stays, and frequent vendor/customer visits. - Work includes both sedentary computer-based tasks and physical tasks; must be able to sit for extended periods and also lift up to 75 pounds. - Not responsible for supervising employees. - LKQ is an Equal Opportunity Employer (Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled).
