Own and execute social media strategy, create engaging content, build brand voice, engage community, and analyze performance.
3-5 years of social media marketing experience at a B2C tech company, strong video and writing skills, strategic planning, and design fluency.
About the role We are looking for a creative, data-driven marketer with 3–5 years of experience to own social media at Littlebird. This is a role for a builder. You won't just be handing off tasks to an agency or managing a calendar created by someone else. You will be the primary voice of the brand, responsible for creating content that connects with our users and executing a strategy that puts Littlebird on the map. We need someone who loves the craft of content creation—writing, filming, editing—but is also ready to step up, look at the big picture, and build a world-class social function from scratch. What you’ll do Own the Strategy: Design and execute a social media plan that aligns with our growth goals. You’ll decide where we play, how we sound, and how we measure success. Create High-Quality Content: You are our lead creator. You will write engaging threads for X and LinkedIn, and film/edit short-form videos for TikTok and Reels that showcase our product and culture. Build the Brand Voice: Define a distinct personality for Littlebird that cuts through the noise. You’ll ensure our tone is consistent, helpful, and human across every touchpoint. Engage the Community: proactively build relationships with our users, creators, and the broader tech community. You’ll turn passive followers into active advocates. Analyze & Iterate: Track performance rigorously. You’ll use data to understand what’s working, report results to the team, and constantly refine our approach to drive better engagement and growth. What you bring 3–5 years of professional experience in social media marketing, specifically at a B2C tech company. A proven portfolio: You can show us accounts you’ve grown, campaigns you’ve led, and content that performed well. Strong video skills: You are comfortable on camera and proficient with editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, etc.) to produce polished short-form video. Excellent writing: You can explain complex ideas simply and write copy that fits the native vibe of each platform (from professional LinkedIn updates to casual Tweets). Strategic ownership: You have experience planning out months of content, managing a calendar, and spotting trends before they peak. Design fluency: Familiarity with Figma, Canva, or Adobe Suite to create sharp visual assets on the fly. Bonus points for: Experience creating content for productivity tools or AI products. Passion for startups, collaboration, and working with a global async team Experience launching a brand on a new channel (e.g., starting a TikTok account from zero). Why join Littlebird? Littlebird is building a personal AI that connects your entire digital life, protecting your focus from clutter and surfacing what you need, the moment you need it. As the lead on Social, you will define how the world sees us. We're a small, distributed team that works quickly, communicates clearly, and values people who take initiative. You’ll have a lot of ownership in this role, along with the support and resources you need to do great work. A fully remote work environment Competitive salary + meaningful equity in an early-stage company Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision) Unlimited PTO 401(k) plan available A team that cares about craft, clarity, and doing good work Locations: San Francisco, New York, Remote (US)
