About Us: Little Stars Childcare 2 is a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children from infancy to school age thrive through play, learning, and connection. We’re looking for a passionate and flexible Floater Teacher to join our team and support various classrooms as needed. Position Summary: The Floater Teacher provides classroom support across all age groups (18 months to School-Age). This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is adaptable, and thrives in different classroom settings. You will collaborate with lead and assistant teachers to ensure a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children. Responsibilities: • Support classroom routines and schedules across age groups • Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment • Assist with diapering, potty training, meals, and rest time as needed • Implement and support daily curriculum and activities • Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and safety guidelines • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff • Provide coverage for teacher absences, breaks, and planning times Qualifications: • Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting required • Comfortable working with all age groups, from 18 months to School-Age • High school diploma or equivalent; ECE coursework preferred • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) • Strong communication, flexibility, and teamwork skills • Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements Schedule: • Part-Time, 01:30 PM - 06:30 PM, Monday to Friday Why Join Us? • Supportive and friendly work environment • Opportunity to grow and work with all age groups • Professional development opportunities • Make a difference in the lives of children every day Job Type: Part-time Pay: $11.50 per hour Ability to Commute: • Houston, TX 77066 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • Houston, TX 77066: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
