Full Description

We are looking for a child care teacher to assist in all 5 of our classrooms. We have a wonderful team, and we are looking for someone who would be a great addition to help provide for the children and close our center at the end of the day. Hours: 11:00 A.M.- 6:00 P.M. with some flexibility on start time. Responsibilities • Assist teachers in daily activities. • "Float" between all classes, giving support to staff and children as needed • Substitute for lead teachers when absent • Snack preparation, lesson preparation • Supervise a classroom during quiet time. Get the class up after quiet time and supervise and interact for the rest of the day • Provide basic care and caregiving activities • Collaborate with other colleagues. • Some light cleaning during quiet time • Diaper changing and assisting with potty-training • Closing duties Skills • Proven experience as a child care assistant • Patience, flexibility and love for children • Strong communication and time management skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour Work Location: In person
