Overview Join our dynamic childcare team as an Assistant Director, Childcare Center, where you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for young learners. This leadership position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations, support teaching staff, and ensure compliance with educational standards. Your passion for early childhood development and education administration will help create a vibrant space where children thrive and families feel confident in our care. Duties • Assist the Center Director in managing daily center operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of all activities • Support and supervise teaching staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education aligned with curriculum standards • Coordinate scheduling, staff training, and professional development initiatives to promote continuous improvement • Oversee compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and quality assurance standards • Foster positive relationships with families, addressing concerns and providing updates on children's progress • Assist in planning educational activities, events, and community engagement efforts to enrich the learning environment • Maintain accurate records related to attendance, licensing documentation, and staff credentials Requirements • Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education or related fields • Must have your ECE or be actively working towards your Early Childhood Education Degree. • Proven experience working with students or young children in educational settings • Strong background in education administration and operational management within a childcare or school environment • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support staff effectively • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with families and staff • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe, and stimulating environment for children and staff alike Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits: • Employee discount • Paid time off Work Location: In person
