Job Description Summary: Under the supervision of the Data Services Supervisor, the Data Analyst is responsible for accurate data entry, validation, and maintenance across multiple systems to ensure compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. About Little Flower: Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is a human services nonprofit supporting the well-being of children, youth, families, and individuals across New York City and Long Island since 1929. Our staff of more than 500 builds well-being by providing prevention services, foster care, residential treatment care, adoption services, programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and medical and mental health services. Principle Responsibilities: * Perform daily data entry and validation in NYS CONNECTIONS, including FASP tracking, foster home certifications, emergency home listings, case worker assignments, and placement module updates. * Monitor and process permanency hearing submissions for both Little Flower and St. John’s Residence, legal tracking reports, and court documentation through LTS (Legal Tracking System), ensuring accurate recording of dates, deadlines, and case status changes * Distribute required reports on established schedules, including expiration reports and population reports. Generate MOP (Movement of Population) reports to enter movements in Connections and overdue/coming due FASP tracking reports to monitor FASP submissions. * Maintain data accuracy across integrated systems (CONNECTIONS and EHR,) by running regular audits, entering system updates, and coordinating information between departments. * Communicate updates and reporting requirements with internal departments and external stakeholders through e-mails, phone calls, and TEAMS meetings to ensure compliance and timeliness * Administer system access and security profiles for NYS-mandated applications, including CONNECTIONS, ARS, and CARA while performing regular audits to ensure staff permissions and caseloads align with current job functions and data privacy standards. * Facilitate end-to-end Special Exceptional Rate package adjustment by managing submissions to ACS and coordinating with finance team and program staff to ensure approved rates are accurately applied across systems. * Assist Data Services Supervisor with other relevant tasks as needed. Systems Experience: * CONNECTIONS – System used by New York State (FASP – Family Assessment and Services Plan, FAD – Foster/Adoptive Home Development, Activity screen, Placement module), CARA, ARS * Netsmart myEvolv or other based EHR application & reporting systems. * LTS – Legal Tracking System Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook * Strong organizational and time management skills * Prior data entry or administrative experience preferred * Familiarity with social services or child welfare systems a plus * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Travel Requirements This position offers a full-time, remote schedule. Employee must be based within a commutable distance from Brooklyn, NY or Wading River, NY.
