Overview List Industries, a leader in the manufacturing of lockers and shelving, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and mechanical systems. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing facility, utilizing your expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, and precision measuring instruments to maintain high-quality production standards. JOB DUTIES: • Focus on ensuring the smooth operation of factory equipment and machinery. This includes routine inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing malfunctions, and maintaining records of all maintenance activities. • Regularly inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and perform routine maintenance tasks. • Diagnose and repair malfunctions or breakdowns of industrial machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. • Conduct preventative maintenance programs to prolong equipment life and reduce the risk of breakdowns. • Ensure all safety regulations are followed during maintenance operations. • Collaborate with production teams and other maintenance personnel to ensure production continuity and efficient maintenance operations. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential for diagnosing and repairing equipment. • Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently and accurately. • Proficiency in using various hand and power tools for maintenance tasks. • Ability to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. • Strong understanding and adherence to safety regulations and procedures. • Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and follow instructions. • Experience with forklift repair highly desirable Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm with overtime and Saturdays 6:00-12:00 as needed.
