Job Summary We are seeking a highly vigilant and dedicated Armed & Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our client's premises, personnel, and visitors. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed & Unarmed Security Officer will utilize various security measures, including surveillance systems and physical presence, to deter and respond to potential threats. Duties • Patrol assigned areas to maintain a visible presence and deter criminal activity. • Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify suspicious behavior. • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. • Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. • Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the safety of individuals in distress. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations. • Conduct loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. • Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and communication skills. Experience • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred. • Familiarity with surveillance equipment and conflict management strategies is essential. • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable but not a must. • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments. • Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security threats.
