Company Background Linkage is hiring a contractor for a self-driving technology company with a mission to make it safe and easy for people and things to move around. Building on software and sensor technology this company is now launching the world’s first fully self-driving transportation service that will take members of the public from A to B at the touch of a button. Project Goals Building a first-of-its-kind service. The user experience team is designing a complete end-to-end experience including a rider app, in-vehicle interface, and external help center. In this new frontier of human-computer interaction, there are countless opportunities to imagine innovative interactions, features, and communications. Program Scope This program includes enduring projects in content design and UX writing with a large focus on mobile app work. Responsibilities • Trip experience content- Create and/or revise content for app flows from booking a trip to end-of-ride feedback including a system of push notifications to keep riders informed of their trip status. • Education content- Create content and propose optimal placement across the rider journey to educate riders on various aspects of the service. This includes trip status push notification content and overall strategy. • Marketplace- Support new ways of delivering rides to customers with UI and content that clearly presents options. • Style guidelines- Document Waymo-specific mobile and in-car experience writing best practices as guidelines are developed and keep documentation up to date. Expectations • Onboarding may be required for specific tools • Full time (40 hours/week + overtime as needed) • Remote friendly
