The Motion Designer will collaborate with the Creative Director, Designers, Producers, and Editors to design and animate graphics for various media projects. They will manage the production of 2D and 3D design and animation workflows effectively.
Candidates should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in motion graphics, with proficiency in 2D and 3D workflows. A strong portfolio demonstrating their role and project involvement is required.

LA is seeking an innovative and self-motivated Motion Designer for a freelance temporary role. This role is for 1-2 weeks with potential to extend. This person is experienced in creating motion graphics, design, and animation for theatrical trailers, television spots, outdoor displays, social media, and streaming marketing campaigns. The motion team gets to work on some awesome projects with a variety of high-profile clients! You will never get bored, as you’ll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects from high res stills, motion graphics, AV trailer GFX, social media campaigns, and previsualizations for photo shoots. You will report directly to the Creative Director and will be working with amazing artists cross-departmentally. What You’ll Do: Collaborate with CD, Designers, Producers, and Editors Design and animate graphics for Theatrical, International, Television, Digital Media, Social media, and Digital Out of Home projects General VFX work: Tracking, Keying, Color, and sometimes a bit of Rotoscoping Effectively manage timely production of 2D and 3D design and animation workflows Rendering high resolution, realistic CG assets for both Motion and Print What You’ll Bring: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in motion graphics in broadcast and/or theatrical marketing Proficiency using 2D and 3D workflows for AE, C4D, and Redshift Familiarity with standard animation formats frame rates, pixel aspect ratios, social media standards, etc. Proficient in 3D Product Lighting/Rendering preferred Experience working with Motion Posters (AV, GFX and Zbrush preferred) Extremely organized with excellent follow through Ability to effectively manage tight deadlines Portfolio with breakdown and an explanation of your role and project involvement LA is an equal opportunity employer.
