Position Overview: The Director of Digital Solutions is responsible for leading the strategy, design, and delivery of digital platforms that enable Lincoln’s advisors, clients, and employees to connect, collaborate, and grow. This role will oversee product management for advisor and client portals, digital onboarding, collaboration platforms, and emerging technologies that enhance the overall digital experience. The Director will serve as the primary business-facing leader for digital initiatives, ensuring that technology solutions drive measurable business outcomes and align with Lincoln’s vision of advisor and client excellence. Key Responsibilities • Digital Strategy & Roadmaps • Define the digital solutions strategy and roadmap in partnership with business stakeholders, aligning with enterprise goals. • Translate advisor/client journeys into actionable digital initiatives with clear outcomes. • Product Management • Lead product management across advisor and client-facing digital platforms (e.g., advisor portal, mobile/web apps, onboarding solutions). • Drive continuous iteration of digital platforms based on feedback, analytics, and adoption data. • Innovation & Emerging Technology • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI copilots, personalization, digital collaboration tools) that create value for advisors and clients. • Pilot and scale innovative digital capabilities that enhance competitiveness and efficiency. • Experience & Adoption • Champion user-centric design, working with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive, accessible digital experiences. • Partner with business leaders to drive adoption, change management, and training. • Cross-Tower Collaboration • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity to ensure digital platforms are secure, scalable, and integrated. • Partner with Digital Workplace to align employee productivity tools with advisor and client digital experiences. • Metrics & Value Realization • Define and track KPIs for digital adoption, satisfaction (NPS, CSAT), and business outcomes. • Regularly report progress and outcomes to the CIO, ELT, and Board as required. • Team Leadership • Build and lead a high-performing team of product managers, digital analysts, and innovation leads. • Develop talent with a strong focus on product thinking and digital strategy capabilities. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Digital Media, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 10+ years of experience in digital strategy, product management, or technology delivery, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Proven success in leading digital transformation initiatives in financial services or a similarly regulated environment. • Strong knowledge of modern product management practices, UX design, and agile methodologies. • Experience with advisors or client-facing digital platforms is strongly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business and technology towers. • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting digital initiatives to executive and board-level audiences. • Strong leadership, influencing, and talent development skills.
