Lily of the Desert Nutraceuticals, conveniently located off Corporate Drive in Lewisville, has immediate openings in our warehouse shipping/receiving areas for experienced forklift drivers and material handlers with knowledge of standard shipping and receiving protocol in a manufacturing environment. These full-time permanent positions will focus on logistical support and warehousing/ inventory movement. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, our material handlers are responsible for supporting the shipment of goods produced as well as goods and supplies received for production purposes. Qualified candidates will possess 2+ years direct experience in material handling in a warehouse environment (production/food manufacturing preferred) and a demonstrated history of good attendance with strict adherence to safety standards. • * We also have 12-hour day shifts available for 3-4 days per week ** Responsibilities • Receive/unload incoming materials verifying accuracy of shipment • Inspect incoming shipments for damages, shortages and/or defects • Operate order picker and forklift in and around warehouse • Pull product from warehouse for production and/or shipment • Load/unload pallets, wrap pallets, place materials on racking system • Assist in inventory control (lifting loose or stray product/general organization of warehouse) • Assist with audits or inspections • Meticulously follow established policies, procedures and objectives regarding quality improvement and safety. • Miscellaneous job duties as may be assigned Skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English/Spanish +) • Good analytical and problem-solving skills • Forklift certification • Commitment to safety at all times • Detail-oriented and multitasking skills • Ability to take direction and carry out assigned work This position requires the ability to sit, stand, move about the facility and regularly lift or move up to 25 pounds.
