Position Title: Data Analyst - Govt. Housing Agency Experience Required Location: 100%Remote Duration:_ Long-term Contract_ Job description: • Lead data analysis and reporting for MOH’s homelessness and prevention programs. • Conduct population-level analyses using the City’s Homelessness Management Information System (HMIS). • Design, build, and maintain dashboards that support program management, oversight, and evaluation. • Enhance analytical tools related to eviction monitoring and prevention. • Develop reports, presentations, dashboards, and written summaries to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. • Respond to ad-hoc data and information requests from City leadership, media, and partners. • Participate in working groups focused on HMIS data quality, performance monitoring, and related areas. Required Skills: • Minimum of 6 years’ professional experience in data analysis, research, program evaluation, or a related field. • Demonstrated experience working with large datasets (cleaning, transforming, analyzing, summarizing). • Proficiency in SQL (querying, filtering, joining, summarizing relational database data). • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Apache Superset, R Shiny, or similar tools. • Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, or Stata (preferred). • Prior Experience with housing or homelessness agency is highly desired. • Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education.
