This role ensures that HR services are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements Essential Functions To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation. • Lead a team of professionals, collaborate with HSC People Services leaders, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and employee experience. • Oversee the daily operations of the people services function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll, benefits, HRIS, and employee relations activities. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations in all aspects of HR service delivery. • Manage the resolution of complex employee issues and provide guidance to the team on handling employee relations cases. • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes, reducing manual effort and enhancing service delivery. • Lead initiatives to implement new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of people services operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of HR processes with other business functions. • Ensure that all people services activities comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. • Develop and maintain internal controls to mitigate risks related to people services operations. • Oversee the management of data in HRIS and other systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Prepare and present reports on people services metrics, such as payroll accuracy, benefits utilization, and employee relations case resolution. • Use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement in service delivery. • Assist in managing the budget for the people services function, ensuring efficient use of resources. Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high standards of service delivery. • Ensure that the people services team is appropriately staffed to meet the needs of the organization • Regular and reliable attendance. • Perform other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities • Support in hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. • Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Additional Information Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Exhibit a basic understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices. Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent related experience.
