About the Role: • The Manager of Government Relations and Community Partnerships supports LifeBridge Health's efforts to strengthen relationships with elected officials, government agencies, and community organizations. This position plays a vital role in advancing LifeBridge Health's advocacy priorities, supporting public policy initiatives, and fostering meaningful partnerships that improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve.Working closely with the Vice President and Director, this position helps connect policy, strategy, and community engagement to ensure LifeBridge Health's voice is represented at the local, state, and federal levels - and that community partnerships align with organizational priorities and health equity goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support the development and execution of LifeBridge Health's advocacy, legislative and investment agenda at the city, state, and federal levels. • Track and analyze legislation, policy proposals, and regulatory changes that may affect LifeBridge Health, its hospitals, or the communities it serves. • Prepare briefing materials, testimony, and talking points for use by senior leadership and subject-matter experts in meetings with elected officials and government agencies. • Coordinate legislative visits, advocacy days, and facility tours for policymakers to highlight LifeBridge Health's programs and impact. • Maintain relationships with government officials and agency partners, serving as a liaison on key health policy and funding issues. • Ensure compliance with lobbying and ethics reporting requirements. • Represent LifeBridge Health in coalitions, task forces, and public hearings related to healthcare policy, public health, and community development. • Contribute to the development of government relations and community engagement strategies, including identifying key issues, relationships, and funding priorities. • Build and maintain strong relationships with community-based organizations, coalitions, faith-based organizations, neighborhood associations and government entities that align with LifeBridge Health's mission and service area. • Supports community programs such as the Community Needs Health Assessment, small community grants, and other local engagement initiatives identified as priority. • Collaborate internally with other departments to align community initiatives with systemwide priorities. • Support employee engagement in alignment with community partners and organizational goals. • Represent LifeBridge Health at community meetings, forums, and other venues that strengthen visibility and collaboration as identified with department leaders. • Collect and report data on community engagement activities and outcomes, ensuring alignment with community benefit and health equity goals. • Draft policy updates, advocacy summaries, and reports for internal and external audiences. • Support the preparation of executive briefings, board materials, and annual community benefit reporting. • Track and communicate the impact of government relations and community engagement activities across the system as need. REQUIREMENTS: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Public Health, Political Science, Communications, Community Engagement or required. • Experience: Minimum three years of experience at the local level in working with government officials and building relationships.
