Summary Lidl US is searching for the next Analyst to join our Customer Insights Management team! The Customer Insights Analyst supports many stakeholders throughout the company by generating reports and analyzing market data that can help answer strategic business questions. • * This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA, and follows a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in-office. ** What You’ll Do Essential Functions • Run, clean, and format data from internal and third-party consumer and retail panel platforms • Create and deliver presentations about shopper behaviors and market performance on a routine basis • Support the Purchasing and Promotions departments in routine category analysis, with a focus on competitive landscape, regional variation, product offerings, top brands, and pricing • Support the Customer Insights Manager in ad hoc project requests, data pulls, creating templates using Google Sheets and Excel for recurring work, and survey analysis as requested • Provide a point of view with actionable recommendations based on data to be leveraged by department stakeholders and board level leadership • Project management and administrative support for the team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing trainings, and prioritizing tasks based on deadlines • Assessing sales information and sharing product images with data partners for continuous alignment and improvement of data quality What You’ll Need Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Ability to work independently • Intermediate to advanced skill level with Google Workspace, particularly using Google Sheets and Slides • Sheets skills to include pivot tables and formulas to aid data analytics • Intermediate to advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think through a problem or business question to identify the best way to develop the analysis from start (data pull) to finish (presentation) • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently with excellent follow-through skills • Positive attitude in a dynamic environment where the team works quickly to react to last minute requests • Highly professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of constituent groups such as senior management, peers, and outside contacts • Familiarity with Syndicated Data Sources and Market Research Data • Proficiency with Power BI and/or MicroStrategy is a plus Required Education, Certifications/Licenses, Related Experience • Bachelor’s degree • 1-3 years of experience in a related field • In lieu of degree, 3+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above Physical Job Requirements • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time What You’ll Receive At Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
