Civil/Structural Professional Engineer (P.E.) – California Remote (California-based) | Full-Time | $130,000 base + performance bonus Company Description Licensed Civil Engineers is a licensed engineering firm providing structural and civil engineering services throughout the U.S. We deliver practical, code-compliant solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Role Description We are seeking a California-licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Civil/Structural Engineering to join our team as a Structural Lead. This is a remote-based position with occasional site visits in California. The Structural Lead will be responsible for overseeing structural design projects, preparing and reviewing calculations, creating construction documents, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings, and engineering reports • Provide stamped plans and ensure compliance with California Building Code and other regulations • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to project team members • Perform site inspections and assessments as needed • Manage multiple projects and deadlines independently Qualifications • Active California Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (Civil/Structural) • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering • 5+ years of structural engineering experience, with strong seismic design knowledge • Proficiency with structural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, or similar) • Solid understanding of California Building Code (CBC) and seismic requirements • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills • Ability to work independently in a remote environment Compensation • Base salary of $130,000 annually • Performance-based bonus opportunities • Flexible remote work structure Why Join Us • Lead impactful projects across California • Work with a supportive, growing engineering team • Competitive pay with bonus potential • Flexible remote setup with opportunities for site exposure • Interested candidates should apply with a resume and proof of California P.E. licensure.
