3+ years related experience, organized, proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe, able to handle shipping documentation and compliance.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to manage and coordinate the processing of domestic and international shipments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, working with freight carriers, and maintaining accurate records. You will play a key role in ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Domestic and International Shipping • Prepare and process shipping documentation (e.g., packing lists, commercial invoices, bills of lading). • Coordinate domestic and international shipments via various carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, freight forwarders, etc.). • Schedule and track outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery. • Confirm and verify shipping details, including address accuracy, package weight, and contents. • Ensure shipments meet all customs, export, and import regulations. Compliance & Documentation • Ensure accurate documentation for international shipments including customs declarations and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements. • Work with internal compliance and logistics teams to resolve shipping issues or delays. Job Responsibilities: • Confirm and records the receipt of shipments • Prepares items for shipping domestically and internationally, including completing all required customs paperwork up to and including researching Schedule B Codes • Loads and unloads trucks • Responsible for managing the inter-departmental transport of materials • Must have the ability to gain a thorough knowledge of the functional area under supervision • Communicate with customer service, logistics providers and customs brokers to ensure customer logistical requirements are met Job Requirements: 3+ years experience in the related area as an individual contributor, preferred HS Diploma or GED is required Must be organized, task-oriented, possess the ability to multi-task, and possess troubleshooting and analytical skills Advanced knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel – required), as well as Adobe Must be able to pass a re-employment drug-screening and background check No phone calls or recruiting companies Company DescriptionLiburdi Dimetrics was founded during the birth of mechanized welding in the 1960s.
