Quality Technician (2nd shift) Position Summary: The Quality Technician supports manufacturing operations by ensuring parts meet blueprint and quality requirements. This role works closely with production and the Quality Manager to maintain inspection standards, support ISO processes, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: • Inspect parts throughout the production process to ensure conformance to blueprints and specifications • Use precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, height gages, Keyence, and CMM • Assist with inspection criteria development, PPAPs, Gage R&R, APQP/NPD, and 8D activities • Support ISO processes and continuous improvement initiatives • Train and assist production employees on blueprint interpretation and measurement techniques • Complete required inspection and quality documentation • Promote a safe, quality-focused work environment Qualifications: • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Experience using precision measurement tools in a manufacturing or metal stamping environment • Pressroom experience strongly preferred • Basic shop math skills • Knowledge of ISO processes • Computer literate (Excel, email, Word) • Strong attention to detail with a safety- and quality-focused mindset • Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to work with minimal supervision • Ability to stand and walk frequently during inspections • Ability to read English for job cards and blueprints The position is for 2nd shift 3pm to 11:30pm. Training will be done on 1st shift 7am to 3:30pm.
