Description Job Description Manages inventory of all 3rd party software configuration items in the desktop, network, midrange and mainframe areas for the purpose of supporting critical business functions and decision making for the Company. Reviews and evaluates data for opportunities to improve accuracy and completeness and enables use of data by many technology disciplines, such as asset management, license compliance, vulnerability management, cybersecurity, etc. Researches and promotes data management best practices. Works as data steward to collaborate with data office to ensure standard approach for data delivery to stakeholders. Collaborates closely with configuration manager and Config and asset process owners to understand, implement and monitor data quality KPIs and provides feedback on improvements. Responsibilities Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and trend data performance against these metrics. Report on data performance to management and recommend corrective actions as needed. Identify process improvement opportunities using data analysis, stakeholder feedback, and industry best practices. Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, maintaining a culture of collaboration and trust. Define, document, and maintain the data management framework, policies, and standards. Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and change initiatives. Participate in a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to organizational goals through process innovation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years working with management of IT assets or related experience Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills required Strong communication and interpersonal skills required Experience with data management preferred Knowledge of ServiceNow and/or FlexeraOne, or CMDB concepts preferred Understanding of software licensing and open source software concepts preferred Understanding of business aspects of tools used for asset management, auto discovery and reporting preferred About Us Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location.
