Description Property State Management is hiring for its Compliance analyst team. Lead projects (complexity commiserate with experience) to ensure the company stays compliant with statutes and regulations. Provide clear measures of success, ensure stakeholders are informed and deadlines are met. Be an expert and answer compliance related inquiries for your assigned states and/or areas of expertise. Use various resources to conduct compliance research, to compile information, to assess whether current approaches are compliant and to document learnings. Assist in developing the handling strategy for escalated items and various regulator interactions. Monitor proposed and enacted legislation and regulation, identify business impacts and work with stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for the company. Drive risk mitigation through the support of issues management and promotion of controls. Identify and execute process improvement opportunities. If the need arises, lead, mentor and assist new personnel to the Department. Compliment the Department's culture by being a positive thinker with a can-do attitude, willing to contribute to achieve our common goals, who wants to work with a team of like-minded individuals. Qualifications Bachelor`s degree in a quantitative subject (example: Mathematics, Finance, Economics) or Legal/Political Science/Insurance and experience with quantitative analysis preferred. 3 to 5 years related work experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance principles and concepts required. Advanced analytical/problem solving and research skills. Effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals and making presentations. Ability to work independently and lead others during projects is a must.
