Description Property State Management is hiring for its Compliance analyst team. We are a collaborative, innovative team with a can-do attitude that is laser focused on meeting our target profitability, growth and expense goals while developing and inspiring highly talented people. Lead projects (complexity commiserate with experience) to ensure the company stays compliant with statutes and regulations. Provide clear measures of success, ensure stakeholders are informed and deadlines are met. Be an expert and answer compliance related inquiries for your assigned states and/or areas of expertise. Use various resources to conduct compliance research, to compile information, to assess whether current approaches are compliant and to document learnings. Assist in developing the handling strategy for escalated items and various regulator interactions. Monitor proposed and enacted legislation and regulation, identify business impacts and work with stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for the company. Drive risk mitigation through the support of issues management and promotion of controls. Identify and execute process improvement opportunities. If the need arises, lead, mentor and assist new personnel to the Department. Compliment the Department's culture by being a positive thinker with a can-do attitude, willing to contribute to achieve our common goals, who wants to work with a team of like-minded individuals. Qualifications Bachelor`s degree in a quantitative subject (example: Mathematics, Finance, Economics) or Legal/Political Science/Insurance and experience with quantitative analysis preferred. 3 to 5 years related work experience preferred. Knowledge of insurance principles and concepts required. Advanced analytical/problem solving and research skills. Effective communication skills for writing reports/proposals and making presentations. Ability to work independently and lead others during projects is a must. About Us Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
