Construction Project Controller Plainview, NY Our client, a highly successful construction company, is looking to hire a Construction Project Controller. Qualified candidates will have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and have ten or more years of construction project accounting experience. You will work closely with the CFO as well as Project Managers across multiple sites around the region. This is an in office role, 5 days a week, offering a salary of $150,000 to $180,000 dependent on prior experience plus a solid benefits package. Responsibilities for the Construction Project Controller job include: • Responsible for the accounting and reporting of multiple projects simultaneously • Track financials, report on variances, trends and produce percentage of completion reports • Work closely with project managers and clients on financial status • Liaise with vendors and sub-vendors for billing purposes (AIA) • Evaluate and improve procedures for efficiency Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred • Ten or more years of project accounting experience • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel required • Experience with MRI or Yardi software is highly preferred • Self-motivated, driven personality If you would like to be considered for or any other position posted by LHH, please email your resume to Erik.Hansen@lhh.com or you can visit our web site at www.lhh.com .
