Responsibilities

As an FTZ Analyst, you will coordinate product movement into and from LS&Co's U.S. FTZs, ensuring customs declarations are accurate and inventory is reconciled. You will also support compliance with FTZ regulations and contribute to the organizational adoption of trade compliance requirements.

As FTZ Analyst, you will play a critical role in the Levi Strauss & Co. supply chain by coordinating product movement into and from LS&Co's U.S. FTZs with Logistics and third-party vendors. You ensure that customs declarations are accurate, inventory is reconciled between LS&Co's ERP system and the third-party's FTZ system. Your role ensures seamless cross-border cargo movement so LS&Co. can meet its obligations to its customers. A properly run FTZ maintains a high standard of customs compliance while also minimizing duty, fees, lead time, and other costs for LS&Co. About the Job Conduct data analysis, research, and interpretation to support decision-making about anything FTZ-related Help develop reports, presentations, and recommendations based on findings. Collaborate with teams to gather information, identify trends, and assess performance Maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools to organize and analyze data. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and latest technologies relevant to the role Work with Logistics, customs brokers, the FTZ administrator, and the FTZ software provider to support compliance with all FTZ regulations and maximize FTZ benefits Support IT projects to fix inventory accounting and status issues that impact FTZ filings and submissions Support audits to ensure accurate information is being used by our FTZ service providers and achieve corrections and process changes First LS&Co. contact for FTZ partners for troubleshooting non-classification issues Report on FTZ costs and MPF and duty deferment savings from the FTZs Contribute to the organizational level adoption of trade compliance requirements. Aid LS&Co's response to Customs' requests and support preparation for Customs audits You will report to the Sr. Analyst, Trade Compliance About You 3+ years of experience in warehouse inventory supporting U.S. customs regulations and procedures Understand FTZ and in-bond regulations, how inventory is recorded, and the relevant customs submissions and filings Well-versed in data manipulation and hygiene of complicated datasets and/or systems Managed vendor performance and implement corrective actions remotely Preferred candidate (not required) is located in close proximity to one of our Distribution Centers – Henderson, NV; Erlanger, KY; or Groveport, OH This is a remote eligible position based in the United States. For candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area, you will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs. The expected starting salary range for this role is $58,100-$91,900 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs. Levi Strauss & Co.
