Our client, Japanese Entertainment Company is now seeking a Japanese Bilingual New Business Development Promotion Planner Representative/Senior Representative. アニメ好きな方 WANTED! 【Location】Cerritos, CA 【Position】New Business Development Promotion Planner 【Compensation】$22-24/h (non-exempt) 【Hiring Style】Direct hiring, Fulltime Responsibilities: • Support execution of multiple new business initiatives and manage timelines, deliverables, and risks. • Source and purchase promotional merchandise aligned with brand, licensing, and market trends. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize margins and ensure brand compliance. • Coordinate cross-functional communication to execute promotions effectively. • Manage vendor and licensor relationships, budgets, and sales reporting. • Analyze sales performance to optimize purchasing strategies and future promotions. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in buying, merchandising, or procurement, preferably in retail or entertainment. • Strong negotiation skills, particularly with licensors and licensed merchandise. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory/purchasing systems. • Highly detail-oriented to ensure promotional accuracy, product quality, and precise reporting. • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. • In-depth knowledge of Japanese culture, including niche anime and mobile, PC, and console games.
