What Drives Success As a Counter Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience with direct involvement in day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with your Store Manager and local team to manage inventory, maintain the appearance of the store, record received and shipped products, and preparing items for shipment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Operate standard warehouse equipment: forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks. Use of RF gun and computer to complete tasks. Maintains appearance of store. Detail oriented. Organizational skills. Self-Motivated. Interested in advancement. Enjoys being a part of a team. Open communication and strong customer service. Willing to travel within the zone to help other locations as needed. Flexible schedule to help meet customer needs, especially during peak seasons. Successfully complete all assigned training within given timeframe. Perform as Store Manager when needed, to include scheduling, ordering, and carrying out open/close procedures. Maintain records of received goods, put away locations, and shipped freight. Gather, verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Route materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas. Complete written and computerized documentation. Help with warranty, returns and other customer-related processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Requires at least 2 years related experience.Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong computer skills preferred, including Microsoft applications. Knowledge of HVAC systems preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. What We Offer Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $46,640-$61,215 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan.
