About the Role • Lemonlight is redefining how brands create video with the power of AI, and we’re looking for an Email Marketing Manager to own and elevate our lifecycle marketing strategy. This role goes beyond campaigns. It’s about designing customer-first, AI-optimized experiences that fuel demand, accelerate sales, and nurture long-term relationships. • You’ll architect best-in-class lifecycle journeys, spanning outbound prospecting, SDR cadences, onboarding, nurture, win-back, and upsell. By partnering closely with Sales, SDRs, and Customer Support, you’ll ensure every email touchpoint delivers the right content to the right user at the right time helping us convert leads faster, onboard customers seamlessly, and expand relationships that drive growth. Key Responsibilities • Lifecycle Strategy: Build and execute a full-funnel email and lifecycle strategy, including outbound, onboarding, nurture, win-back, upsell, and retention programs. • Outbound & SDR Enablement: Design and manage SDR cadences, outbound prospecting sequences, and personalized follow-ups that fuel pipeline creation. • Onboarding & Retention: Partner with Customer Support to streamline onboarding communications and ensure smooth handoffs from sales to service. • Segmentation & Personalization: Develop dynamic, segmented campaigns that deliver relevant content tailored to ICP, funnel stage, and engagement history. • Content & Creative: Collaborate with Creative and Product Marketing to deliver compelling copy, design, and offers that strengthen brand storytelling. • Testing & Optimization: Implement rigorous A/B and multivariate testing for subject lines, content, design, timing, and frequency. • Data & Reporting: Define lifecycle KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversions, retention, pipeline impact) and provide actionable reporting to leadership. • Compliance & Deliverability: Ensure programs align with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and deliverability best practices. • AI & Automation: Leverage AI-powered optimization and advanced marketing automation for personalization and scale. Required Qualifications • 5-7 years of experience in email, outbound, and lifecycle marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS, creative services, or AdTech. • Proven ability to design multi-touch lifecycle journeys (onboarding, nurture, win-back, upsell) that directly influence pipeline and retention. • Hands-on expertise with relevant platforms, including: HubSpot, Monday.com, Clay/Instantly, Gong, PandaDoc, Zapier • Strong data skills: reporting, attribution, segmentation, and campaign forecasting. Excellent writing skills and ability to adapt brand voice across different lifecycle stages.
