This senior role requires a blend of strategic oversight and technical expertise to manage program initiatives that align with organizational goals and deliver substantial value to our clients. Responsibilities and Duties • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technical programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. • Develop comprehensive program strategies and plans in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams. • Lead technical teams to ensure the seamless integration and delivery of cross-functional projects. • Manage program risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize impact. • Establish robust communication channels with stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, milestones, and deliverables. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing industry best practices and process enhancements. • Coordinate with product managers, engineers, and other departmental leads to align program goals with business objectives. • Facilitate program governance meetings and thorough program reviews, ensuring alignment across all initiatives. • Prepare and present detailed program reports and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders. • Cultivate a collaborative program environment that encourages innovation and team synergy. Basic Qualifications and Skills Required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with significant exposure to technical program management. • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex technical programs. Required Skills and Competencies • Deep expertise in system architecture, with proficiency in designing systems for scalability and performance. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, system integration, and IT infrastructure. • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, including agile and waterfall approaches. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify program opportunities and challenges. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels. • Proficiency in using program management and productivity tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence. • Strong organizational skills and a detail-oriented approach to program planning and execution. • Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and negotiating priorities across competing demands. • Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance (TS/SCI).
