Candidates must be U.S. citizens with a BS degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with over 10 years of experience. Structural engineering experience on US Navy ships or commercial maritime vessels is required.

You must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Clearance to qualify. Primary Responsibilities: As a member of an interdisciplinary team, solve structural engineering problems on complex ship design projects. Develop technical specifications, analysis reports, calculations, briefings, status reports and test procedures. Perform technical analyses using US Navy specifications, Design Data Sheets, Technical Manuals, and commercial rules. Interact with government and industry personnel. Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers. Technical Lead on small projects. Perform quality assurance reviews of products including calculations, models, drawings and reports. Candidate Requirements: U.S. Citizenship is Required Must be able to quickly obtain a Security Clearance (Current Clearance preferred) Requires BS degree and at least 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with more than 10 years of prior relevant experience. Must have Structural Engineering experience on US Navy Ships and/or commercial maritime vessels. Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Proficient with industry software including AutoCAD and Finite Element Software Strong analytical skills. Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly, both verbally and in written format. Preferred Qualifications Past submarine work experience is a bonus. If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
