Leidos is hiring a dynamic Technical Project Manager (TPM) for our ATF program to oversee software development teams delivering mission-critical solutions in a complex enterprise environment. The role will drive the successful execution of software engineering projects from conception through deployment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, technical requirements, and customer expectations. This leadership role will bridge technical teams and business stakeholders, driving project success from requirements through deployment. Key Responsibilities: Lead Agile software development teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software products on-schedule and within budget, including all phases of the software development lifecycle Collaborate with customers, architects, quality assurance, DevOps, and business stakeholders to define project scope, roadmap, and technical strategies. Implement and enforce coding standards, secure development best practices, and process improvements that enhance productivity and product quality. Serve as the primary point of contact and own project delivery for a major functional area Foster collaboration, continous innovation/improvement, and adherence to best practices in a multidisciplinary development environment. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field 8+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a software management or technical leadership role. Proven track record managing software teams using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and/or traditional SDLC methodologies. Proficiency in leading complex projects involving multiple technologies, platforms, and stakeholders. Strong understanding of secure coding practices, code quality, and DevOps principles in modern development environments. Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills Experience with Section 508, IT security, and quality standards U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Certifications in Agile development PMP, PMI-ACP, certification Familiarity with Department of Justice or federal government IT environments.
