The Health & Civil Sector is seeking a Enterprise Cloud Architect to lead Enterprise Architecture Assessments across the sector in support of many of our platform modernization and transformation initiatives underway to include cloud migrations, application consolidation, and user experience. This is a strategic role to focus on aligning the sector’s cloud computing strategy to our overall business initiatives. In support of those activities, the following are the primary responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities: Defining the scope and objectives: Working with stakeholders to clarify the purpose and goals of the assessment. Cloud assessment team: Guiding and coordinating a team of cloud SMEs. Evaluating cloud strategy: Evaluating roadmap for cloud adoption, to include which application and services will be migrated and how the transition will be managed. Designing cloud solutions: Creating blueprints for cloud-based systems, ensuring they meet business requirements for performance, security, and cost. Ensuring security: Implementing robust security measures to protect sensitive data and applications in the cloud environment. Overseeing implementation: Guiding the technical teams in the deployment of cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices. Formulating recommendations: Developing actionable recommendations based on the assessment findings to improve the program. Communicating findings and recommendations: Presenting assessment results to stakeholders and program leadership clearly and concisely. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience, working in software development or Internet-related industries. 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience, migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud. 10+ years working with AWS technologies from a devops perspective. 15+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
