Leidos Engineering has an opportunity for a Substation Design Project Coordinator. This position will be part of our unique and fast-growing EPC Solutions group, which sits within our Power Delivery Solutions division that provides consulting services to both public-owned and investor-owned electric utilities. These consulting services provide clients with overall project management tasks in the areas of comprehensive engineering design of electrical transmission and distribution, substation and transmission line projects nationwide. As a valued team member, you can look forward to a fast paced, diverse work environment and flexible work hours/work arrangements, as well as managers who will encourage career development and growth opportunities, including: Project Management Professional (PMP) Formal Mentorship programs Developmental Leadership training Technical Upskilling Opportunities Management opportunities Primary Responsibilities: Assist technical teams in the organization and coordination of technical documents and drawings Manage upload and transfer of deliverables and submittals Assist with document control, including upload and acquisition of files while maintaining credentials for Customer access Assist with tasks to support proposals for new business Develop and track proposals and data Assist project management teams in planning, organizing, and managing various projects, providing detailed data to support decision-making Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using established computer platforms Track milestones, deliverables, and resource assignments Set up and manage project collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint sites Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports for internal and client review Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up and completion Required Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field with 0-2+ years of relevant experience is preferred An Associate’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field with 2-4+ years of relevant experience will be considered Previous experience in an administrative, project coordinating or related position in an engineering or other technical setting Familiarity with the electric utility industry is highly desirable; Candidates with previous experience working directly at an electric utility or in a consulting environment for electric utilities are highly preferred Candidates must be located within the U.S. to be considered.
