Lee Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr Technical Business Analyst to join our team and drive the delivery of high-impact advertising solutions. The Sr Technical Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, Product Management, and the development team, ensuring the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives. You’ll play a critical role in translating requirements into actionable user stories and ensuring the team delivers maximum value in each sprint. Key Responsibilities: • Demonstrated expertise in Agile frameworks with a clear understanding of the Sr Technical Business Analyst responsibilities within cross-functional teams. • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it reflects business priorities and is always ready for development. • Translate advertising business needs and operational requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria. • Work closely with the Scrum Master and development team to plan and deliver sprint work. • Ensure the team has a two-sprint-ready backlog and is aligned with the product roadmap. • Participate in and contribute to all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives. • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for developers and designers regarding product direction and decisions. • Provide regular status updates and communicate progress, risks, and blockers to stakeholders. • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage workflow and documentation. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role. • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working with cross-functional teams. • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills — comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience writing clear and concise user stories and business requirements. • Proficient in common product and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Traits: • Proven expertise in advertising product ownership, ideally within digital media, ad tech, or marketing platforms. • Analytical mindset with a focus on solving real user problems. • Self-starter who thrives in collaborative and dynamic environments. • Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and helping the team stay focused on the highest-value work.
