Full Description

Description Are you ready to elevate your recruiting career and play a pivotal role in reshaping an industry? At Ledgebrook, you’ll have the opportunity to help build a rapidly growing company by promoting our employer brand and helping us source top talent. You bring the skills and passion; we’ll provide the resources and support to help you succeed and transform the future of the insurance industry. Ledgebrook is a tech-enabled E&S MGA on a mission to modernize specialty insurance. The industry is burdened with legacy technology and inefficient processes, preventing innovation at scale. We are changing that. Our goal is to become the best-in-class, full-stack insurance and reinsurer, leveraging data-driven insights to revolutionize underwriting, pricing, and risk selection. To help us get there, we are seeking a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner to join our dynamic team. About the Role This key role will help Ledgebrook attract, engage, and hire top-tier global talent to support our rapidly growing organization. As a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be responsible for driving recruitment strategies that align with our vision and growth objectives, predominantly recruiting in the US and Canada. You will partner with hiring managers, and leadership to deliver innovative recruitment solutions that fuel our expansion and ensure we bring the best people on board. What You’ll Do: Talent Acquisition Strategy: Lead the development and execution of recruitment strategies, ensuring they align with the company's mission, goals, and culture. Candidate Sourcing & Engagement: Partner with our external recruitment agency while also proactively sourcing directly to build and nurture a strong, diverse pipeline of high-caliber candidates for current and future hiring needs. End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing, to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless, candidate-friendly experience while balancing speed and quality. Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with hiring managers and external recruitment consultants to understand role requirements, provide strategic insights, and deliver top talent for critical positions. Employer Branding: Champion Ledgebrook’s employer brand by ensuring candidates understand our unique mission and the opportunity to be a part of the future of insurance. Lead on planning and delivering recruitment events to access top talent, ranging from early careers to experienced hires. Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilize analytics and data to assess, report and improve the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, continually optimizing for better results. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment processes, driving efficiency and improving overall candidate experience. Diversity & Inclusion: Help create a diverse and inclusive work environment by ensuring inclusive hiring practices and engaging diverse talent pools. About you Here at Ledgebrook we’re passionate about creating a team that thrives on continuous learning and shares our excitement about building a company from the ground up. We’re looking for people to join us with: A passion for delivering world-class customer service to our internal and external customers Intellectual curiosity and a strong desire for innovation, rather than following the status quo A hunger for continuous learning and opportunities to grow Agile prioritization skills coupled with a keen sense of urgency - we balance getting it right with getting it done right now A strong drive and desire to win together as a high-performing team A moral compass to "do the right thing, period." We have zero tolerance for toxic behaviors An eagerness to actively participate and connect with the whole team, across remote locations An honest, transparent communication style A proactive, solution-oriented mindset. We don’t look for blame, we look for the solution Requirements Must Haves: Experience: 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, including hiring senior roles across different geographic regions, preferably in a fast-paced or tech-driven industry. Recruiting Expertise: Deep knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, sourcing techniques, and recruitment technologies. Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the insurance or InsurTech industry is a plus, but not a requirement. Process-Oriented: Proven ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail. Problem-Solver: Ability to think creatively and solve complex hiring challenges with innovative solutions. Nice to Haves: Startup Experience: Experience working in a high-growth startup environment, navigating evolving recruitment needs as the business scales. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with recruitment software, applicant tracking system, AI tools, and data-driven hiring practices. Diversity Focus: Experience in promoting and implementing diversity and inclusion initiatives within the hiring process. Benefits Competitive salary and meaningful equity Full remote flexibility and asynchronous work culture Unlimited PTO and fully paid sick leave Autonomy, purpose, and the chance to shape something from the ground up
