As of February 13th, a prominent law firm is seeking a Conflicts Manager. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of legal ethics and conflicts partnered with a professional sense of responsibility. The position will involve: • Overseeing the prompt evaluation, determination, and resolution of potential conflicts of interests. • Advising Partners, Associates, Paralegals, and other support staff on related procedures, policies, and best practices. • Drafting documents such as waiver agreements, ethical walls, and screening memoranda. • Handling risk management initiatives and documenting internal procedures. • Supporting lateral attorney and new client onboarding with regard to conflicts matters. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of conflicts experience in a law firm setting. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to establish positive rapport with attorneys and firm leadership. • Strong research, problem-resolution, and analytical thinking abilities. • Well-versed in conflicts best practices and have a proactive work ethic. • Proficiency with InTapp software and legal research databases.
