Position Summary Leapers, Inc. is a global manufacturer and distributor with a small business feel headquartered in Livonia, Michigan. Our mission is to be the ultimate solution provider across customers of different expertise, levels, and means for the shooting and hunting industry. We run over 34 top-of-the-line CNC machines and a 100-yd indoor shooting range at our home facility. The Leapers brand family includes UTG, UTG Pro, and Integrix products, with 2024 marking our expansion into billet receivers and high-performance optics. We are in search of a Marketing Operations Manager to run operations across Trade Shows, Events, and Competitions. You will take charge of key Trade Show strategy and logistics, from SHOT Show in Vegas to IWA Outdoor Classics in Germany and smaller shows throughout the year, including product display plans, trade show booth design, and trade show build and vendor management. You will redefine and expand our Trade Show or Event strategy by analyzing ROI of our Trade Show agenda and conduct a Request for Proposal (RFP) to explore alternative vendors. You will establish ops and equipment necessary to create memorable, personal, brand-worthy experiences on-the-ground at shooting competitions and media events. You will define the path forward on vendor selection and in-house execution of all things Trade Show related. You will also help assess other areas of Marketing and where outsourcing may be appropriate. You should have a passion for shooting and hunting as an enthusiast or competitor yourself. You should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience running Trade Show strategy and operations. You should be excited to engage left and right sides of the brain at once to provide creative direction, further our brand image, and how we present ourselves at events. You should be well-organized, experienced in workflow management, and great at teamwork to work across Marketing, Design, Sales, and Product teams. You should be excited to travel and engage with external customers and dealers at events, representing our company, brands, and products. What You Will Do as a Marketing Operations Manager • Evaluate and define our Trade Show strategy and logistics from SHOT Show in Vegas to larger and smaller shows throughout the year • Lead modernizing trade show booth design with internal Design team and external vendors • Own vendor management for the booth space, booth build, promotional materials needed • Conduct a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify cost savings with alternative vendors • Assess other areas of marketing that may be appropriate to outsource with vendors • Create and manage repeatable, modular product display plans based on the event and target market • Evaluate, capture, and analyze data to refine the ROI of existing Trade Shows and modify our strategy • Create and execute campaigns related to on-the-ground events and trade shows • Expand our larger events strategy based on competitor benchmarking and market opportunities • Establish repeatable operations, organization, equipment, and marketing materials needed for memorable brand-worth experiences at on-the-ground events and competitions • Coordinate and manage workflow and priorities across Marketing, Design, and Product teams • Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Product Development, and Manufacturing teams Qualifications • Passion for shooting and hunting as an enthusiast or competitor yourself • Minimum 5 years of experience running Marketing Operations and Trade Show strategy and logistics • Experience analyzing performance and ROI of events and trade shows • Experience running RFPs for different vendors independently • Professional and personable, able to represent the company, engage new prospects, and build relationships Skills & Capabilities • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker able to define and execute a creative vision • Resourceful and initiative-taking with excellent organization and time management skills • Collaborative and open-minded to lead teamwork across departments • Experience/knowledge in hunting, shooting and outdoor activities with across optics, firearm accessories and different firearm operations Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Retirement plan • Vision insurance Application Question(s): • Do you have experiencing shooting or hunting as a personal interest?
