Leap29 are working closely with a client who is on the hunt for a strategic, commercially savvy trailblazer to lead the charge in forging long-term renewable natural gas (RNG) offtake partnerships with global data center operators. What You’ll Do • Build a powerful portfolio — Identify and engage top-tier data center clients, from hyperscalers and colocation leaders to cutting-edge microgrid developers. • Shape the deals that power the future — Structure and negotiate sophisticated, multi-year offtake agreements with an eye on pricing strategies, environmental attributes, and carbon accounting excellence. • Collaborate and deliver — Work hand-in-hand with internal project, legal, and finance teams to ensure RNG supply seamlessly meets client demand and timelines. • Lead with market intelligence — Stay ahead of evolving trends in clean energy procurement, sustainability goals, and firm power solutions. • Be the face of the company — Represent us at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings to expand our footprint and fuel growth. What You Bring • 5+ years of experience in energy sales, corporate sustainability, or infrastructure partnerships — ideally with exposure to tech or data center clients. • A deep understanding of RNG markets, environmental credits (RINs, LCFS, RECs), and voluntary carbon frameworks. • A proven ability to close complex commercial agreements and drive strategic partnerships. • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Bonus Points If You Have • Hands-on experience partnering with hyperscale cloud providers or colocation operators. • Familiarity with microgrid solutions, fuel cells, or on-site generation technologies.
