💎 Who is the Senior Account Manager? Account managers are people-people, responsible for the relationships between Leap and its clients. This means understanding the clients' business to be able to manage their needs and expectations AND understanding the Leap’s offerings to be able to shepherd internal resources. The Senior Account Manager is a proven project facilitator, showing adeptness and sustained success at guiding the cross-functional team with focus on scope/project delivery, and consistently exceeding client expectations. Seen by clients as a trusted resource and brand steward, and by internal teams as the go-to person for guidance on client expectations and engagement details, this role plays a critical role on our team. This particular Senior Account Manager role will work heavily with our government client accounts. Broad responsibilities include: Client engagement - relationships with mid-senior and junior levels, senior level client familiarity Manages up to AD - provides info on client relationship health, project status and hourly burn rate AMM leadership - direction and support for subordinate staff Cross-functional team leadership - leads meeting and presentations, takes point on next steps Strategic thought leadership - input to internal strategists, guidance to teams Project involvement - manages high and medium-touch assignments and is the driving force for KO, fulfillment and completion of quality deliverables Creative guidance and assessment - ensures great direction going in and high quality going out Media guidance and assessment - ensures great direction going in and high quality going out Digital experience assessment - manages and holds teams accountable for timely, insightful, actionable reporting Production influence – works with producers to manages project and gain client alignment to ensure momentum and efficiency Financial awareness – approves billing, monitors hrs and helps manage projects for efficiency 📚 What do You Need? 5+ years agency account management experience Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy Experience managing government or public section clients - and an understanding of the unique nuances of collaboration, compliance, and communication that come with it Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with ease Skilled in brainstorming with a team for creative ideation Prior experience working with both B2B and B2C marketing Ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and deadlines without sacrificing timeliness or quality High degree of detail- and process-orientation Self-starter mentality with a passion for continuous learning · Important note: if you think you have what it takes to be a great in this role but don't necessarily meet all of these qualifications, please still apply!
