Fast Facts Leading Educators is seeking a visionary Director of Content & Coaching - Math to revolutionize math education in Oakland Unified School District by designing innovative professional learning experiences that empower educators and enhance student engagement. Responsibilities: Design and facilitate high-impact professional learning experiences for educators, develop coaching strategies, analyze educational data, and create scalable systems for continuous learning. Skills: Strong background in instructional coaching, deep knowledge of math curricula, expertise in adult learning design, and comfort navigating educational environments. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in math classrooms and instructional coaching, proven ability to build relationships, and preference for experience with Eureka curriculum implementation. Location: Remote position based in the U.S., requiring 3 to 6 trips a year for organizational retreats and job-related travel. This role calls for the following: • 8+ years of combined math classroom and instructional coaching experience • Proven ability to build trusting relationships across various stakeholder groups • Deep knowledge of supporting teachers in curriculum internalization and adaptation • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning design and facilitation • Strong understanding of College and Career Readiness Math Standards • Experience coaching educators to achieve outstanding student outcomes • Comfort navigating dynamic, rapidly changing educational environments • Advanced mathematical pedagogical and content knowledge • Preference for experience with Eureka curriculum implementation Travel Requirements • This is a remote position requires 3 to 6 trips a year • National travel for org retreats, programming, job related travel, or professional development • Outside of the above mentioned travel, this person will work from a home office that must be located anywhere within the U.S. Why Work at Leading Educators? Compensation & Benefits • Compensation:If hired for this position, the base compensation range is $103,649 to $140,231 annually. New hires typically enter the range at a set comp ratio (e.g., 0.95 or 0.98), depending on the role. For this position, the salary entry point is $121,940. Candidates may move up the range based on additional years of relevant experience beyond the role’s minimum years of experience qualification. • If you have more than 8 years of directly relevant experience, your starting salary may be adjusted higher within the range, up to a maximum starting salary of $129,779.
