Work Hours: 45 hours weekly from August 15 - May 15th and 55 hours per week from May 15th - June 15th Work Schedule: 9AM - 6PM Work Week: Monday - Friday Location: Remote from August 15 to June 15 annually, with up to 30 days of travel for board meetings, conferences, and project oversight. Summer Requirement: On-site at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. from June 15th - August 15th. Compensation: • Salary: $65,000 per year • Bonus: $10,000 upon successful completion of each summer session • Benefits: 21 days paid leave per year, 401(k) matched at 8% About Leadership Initiatives Leadership Initiatives is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers young leaders through immersive educational experiences, connecting high school interns with real-world projects to inspire personal and professional growth. Our programs offer students hands-on experience, mentorship, and guidance to help them define their academic and career goals. Who We’re Looking For We are seeking a tech savvy, highly detail-oriented Accounts and Program Operations Manager who can handle large scale data workloads with speed and accuracy, manage social media operations and digital marketing campaigns, and lead structured learning environments both virtually and in person. This role demands someone who stays steady under pressure and thrives when juggling many responsibilities at once. Ideal candidates will have experience in administration, data processing, social media management, marketing, and youth education, including curriculum development and/or classroom leadership, particularly in areas of law or business. Key Responsibilities Administration and Accounts Management • Work closely with the Director of Finance and internal teams to manage daily administrative tasks including data processing, accounts management, record keeping, list maintenance, and accuracy checks across all incoming information. • Provide timely and exceptional customer support via email, phone, and Zoom calls. • Maintain effective and open communication with team members and contribute to cross-functional teams. • Manage financial transactions, including processing invoices, receivables, and payments. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with organizational policies. Summer Program Leadership (On-Site) • Serve as understudy to the Program Directors of the Law and Business Programs. • Design and deliver engaging, experiential learning curriculum for high school students focused on career development and industry exploration. • Think quickly and adapt when unexpected situations arise, always maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented approach. • Work through last-minute scheduling changes and "put out fires" in the moment. • Mentor middle and high school students as they navigate career exploration, offering guidance grounded in real-world experience and global perspectives. • Cultivate an environment where students feel challenged, inspired, and supported in defining their personal and professional goals. • Supervise students during activities and meals, providing leadership and instruction as needed. Social Media Management and Marketing • Take full ownership of all organizational social media accounts including content planning, posting, analytics, and audience engagement. • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support recruitment, brand visibility, and program announcements. • Coordinate with staff, interns, and project teams to gather content that showcases ongoing work and student success. • Maintain consistent brand voice and quality control across all platforms. Qualifications Required • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Demonstrated experience managing multiple social media accounts and/or marketing campaigns. • Strong computer skills, especially in Excel/Google Sheets. • Exceptional attention to detail, especially in areas of written communication and data processing accuracy. • Excellent customer service skills. • Strong interpersonal skills for working closely with diverse teams and middle and high school students. • Ability to think on your feet and stay calm when plans change - this happens often, and we need someone who sees it as an exciting challenge, not a stressor. Preferred • Experience leading youth in an educational setting - summer camps, after school programs, institutional learning, development programs, etc. • Strongly prefer a background or experience in business and/or law or experience in teaching or designing curriculum in these subjects. • Strong project management skills, including the ability to create clear timelines, checklists, and systems to keep programs on track. • Experience in curriculum development and resource planning. • Experience in: Salesforce, Gmail, JotForm, Canva, NEO LMS, WordPress.
