The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for obtaining unit staffing needs and filling shifts with available personnel while providing a monthly schedule. Additional duties include maintaining team member files, assisting with invoice issues, and supporting the new hire orientation process.
A high school diploma or GED is required along with two years of secretarial experience. An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Your job is more than a job. Staffing Coordinator obtains unit staffing needs and fills shifts with SOS/Agency availabilities on a daily basis and provides a monthly schedule. Secondary duties include on-call calendar, maintaining team member files, assisting with resolution of invoice issues, and assisting in the new hire orientation process. Provides clerical and technical support to department, and performs special projects as assigned. GENERAL DUTIES Quality - Completes the monthly schedule for SOS nurses matching their availability with the unit needs and keeps TSS and Kronos current. - Completes letters, memos, forms and general correspondence including special reports using computer software. Service - Assists units daily in meeting their staffing needs utilizing SOS and Agency Personnel. - Supports the new hires in the orientation process and associated documentation. - Maintains an inventory of forms, equipment and supplies for the department. Community - Supports departmental goals and unit activities. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Required: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent AND 2 years of Secretarial experience required. Preferred: Associate/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related discipline. WORK SHIFT: Evenings (United States of America) LCMC Health is a community.
