• *Details** CDL Shuttle Driver Location: Medstar Washington Hospital Hourly Rate: $21.00/HR + PT Available + $150 Sign-On BONUS* Schedule: Monday to Friday (Contact for Details) MUST have CDL for 2+ years (minimally) and w/ passenger endorsement Spirit of the Position: LAZ CDL Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers. Principle Job Duties: • Safely operating company vehicles. • G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time). • Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable. • Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity. • Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver. Requirements: • 2+ years with a CDL w/ passenger endorsement • Class A/B license ONLY • Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy. • Ability to read, write, and speak English. • Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement. • Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays. Physical Demands: • Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs • Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift. • Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.) The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
