As a leader in the MRO industry, we partner with customers to make sure they have the right maintenance and repair parts on hand when needed. We're looking for a motivated individual to join our inventory control team in our McCook IL warehouse! This individual is responsible for maintaining overall accuracy of our inventory, including managing all records pertaining to out-of-stocks and inventory levels. The hours are Monday-Friday; 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes vision, dental, medical and retirement benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package. Responsibilities: • Conducts daily cycle counts. • Traces missing product. • Makes adjustments to inventory in our ERP (Prelude) system. • Closes out "Discontinued When Out" (DWO) products. • Performs internal and external audits. • Obtains resolutions on all inventory dispositions. • Profiles new items. • Reconciles non-conformance. • Assigns and relocates products into pick zones based on volume. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with six months of related warehouse experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ability to use power equipment, such as order selector, reach truck, and sit-down lift. • Ability to learn warehouse ERP (Prelude) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. • The employee frequently is required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to read small print as on an RF device, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
