Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and skilled New York Labor Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of New York labor laws, a strong courtroom presence, and a fervent dedication to advocating for employee rights and fair workplace practices. Key Responsibilities: • Provide expert legal advice on New York labor and employment laws to individual and corporate clients. • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, collective bargaining agreements, and settlement agreements. • Conduct legal research and stay up to date on changes in New York labor regulations and case law. • Prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; manage all phases of litigation from intake through resolution. • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop a strategy and deliver successful outcomes. • Conduct client consultations and maintain strong, trust-based relationships. • Participate in mediation, arbitration, and courtroom proceedings as needed. Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the New York State Bar. • Minimum 3 years of experience specializing in New York labor law. • Demonstrated success in litigation, negotiation, and client advocacy. • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and maintain meticulous attention to detail. • Commitment to ethical practice and professionalism. • Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software. Salary and Other Compensation: The base salary for this position is between $120,000 – $190,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
