Laurel Parc, a beautiful senior living community located just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area, is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing. This dynamic leader will drive occupancy growth by developing and implementing strategic marketing plans while fostering strong relationships with prospective residents, their families, and referral sources. Schedule: Monday-Friday Shift: Full-Time Main Responsibilities: • Maintain consistent budgeted occupancy for Laurel Parc through strategic outreach and marketing initiatives. • Develop and execute quarterly community outreach and marketing plans. • Oversee and manage the move-in process, including paperwork and acting as a move-in counselor for new residents. • Lead hiring, training, and coaching of marketing staff. • Build and maintain a strong base of prospective residents and referral sources. • Provide leadership to the leasing team to meet occupancy and lead conversion goals. • Track the effectiveness of events and marketing campaigns through inquiries, tours, and deposits. • Conduct at least 15 sales calls weekly to prospective residents and referral sources. • Respond to inquiry calls within one hour and ensure seamless follow-up for potential residents. • Plan and evaluate advertising strategies, including creating copy and designs for marketing materials. • Manage the marketing budget to align with department goals. • Organize and oversee marketing events to promote Laurel Parc. • Maintain communication with potential residents and uphold an updated lead database. • Collaborate on quarterly competitive analyses and partner with local media for publicity. • Review and forward invoices for marketing and PR-related expenses. • Train and support leasing staff, ensuring effective onboarding and ongoing development. • Uphold privacy standards, including compliance with HIPAA regulations. • Demonstrate compassion, respect resident rights, and address resident and family concerns promptly. • Exhibit excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit. • Supervise three marketing team members, managing hiring, training, performance, and resolution of issues. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Competitive base salary + commission • At least 5-7 years previous related experience in senior living with a proven history of success. • Strong ability to develop appropriate sales relationship with potential clients quickly and be a great “listener.” • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form. • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects and objectives while meeting deadlines. • Possess an upbeat, positive, flexible and enthusiastic personality. • Professional in dress and presentation. • Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe. Experience in Yardi CRM preferred. Language Requirement All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
