Job Summary: We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic leader to serve as General Manager, Strategic Initiatives. This senior-level role will be responsible for leading and executing large-scale, high-impact projects across the organization. Acting as a problem-solver, change agent, and cross-functional leader, the GM will take ownership of strategic initiatives from inception through execution, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and successful adoption across the business. This role requires a blend of executive-level strategic thinking and hands-on program leadership. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving enterprise-level change, implementing corporate transformation initiatives, and managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Responsibilities: Program & Project Ownership • Take full accountability for large-scale projects from planning to completion, ensuring measurable business impact. • Define project goals, success criteria, KPIs, and governance frameworks. • Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Execution & Problem Solving • Diagnose business challenges, design innovative solutions, and implement operational improvements. • Serve as a "fixer" for complex issues that span multiple business units. • Ensure that lessons learned are captured and applied to future initiatives. Change Management • Drive organizational adoption of new systems, processes, and structures. • Develop and execute change management strategies to minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement. • Serve as a visible leader and communicator for corporate transformation initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Build strong partnerships across Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Client Success, and Finance. • Manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from front-line teams to the C-suite. • Align cross-functional resources to drive accountability and results. Strategic Leadership • Provide support to the executive team in the identification, scoping, and prioritization of strategic initiatives that align with LauraMac's growth strategy and market opportunities. • Partner with executive leadership to translate corporate objectives into actionable programs. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in program management, strategic initiatives, or corporate transformation roles, ideally in SaaS, FinTech, or financial services. • Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex, cross-functional initiatives. • Strong background in corporate change management and organizational design. • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented SaaS environment. Skills & Competencies: • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the residential mortgage market, including loan trading, correspondent lending, and securitizations. • Leadership & Management: Strong track record of leading teams and driving performance in fast-paced, technology-driven environments. • Product Management: Ability to define, prioritize, and deliver technology solutions that meet the specific needs of the mortgage industry. • Strategic Thinking: Capable of developing long-term business strategies while managing day-to-day operations. • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders across the mortgage and technology sectors.
