We are seeking a dynamic and organized Inventory Manager to join our team at our warehouse specializing in home building products. The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, and maintaining accurate records to support our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular physical counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies • Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying part numbers, revisions, and counts using inventory management system • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner • Operate sit down forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move materials to and from loading docks and storage areas • Organize materials in designated areas to facilitate efficient retrieval and distribution Qualifications: • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics • Knowledge: Strong understanding of material handling procedures, inventory management, and warehouse operations. • Comfortable using computerized inventory management systems, barcode scanners, and other warehouse software • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills • Certifications: Valid forklift operator certification and experience operating a sit down forklift is highly preferred. • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment that may involve bending, stooping, and standing for long periods. • Familiarity with OSHA regulations for safe forklift operation • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
