What you’ll do • Operational Readiness: Partner with developers and product teams to ensure systems are designed for reliability, performance, and scale. • Reliability & Incident Management: Lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis, and embed improvements that prevent repeat issues. • Automation & DevOps: Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, champion infrastructure-as-code, and eliminate manual toil. • Monitoring & Observability: Build smarter alerts, establish meaningful SLOs, and elevate system health visibility. • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product to align operational needs with business goals. • Continuous Improvement: Apply ITSM insights, risk management, and compliance to drive stronger operational outcomes. What you bring to the team The strongest candidates will have many of the following qualifications: • BS in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience. • Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, Go, or scripting (experience with Spring Framework or KQL is a plus). • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and configuration management. • Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems at scale. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Groovy, Chef). • Experience with cloud platforms and DevSecOps tools, particularly Azure DevOps and GitHub/GitHub Actions. • Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and system design. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with ownership and accountability. • Interest in automation, observability, and mentoring peers.
