Perform litigation tasks including legal research, motion drafting, depositions, and trial preparation under mentorship in a boutique law firm.
Must have 2+ years litigation experience, California law license, JD degree, strong litigation skills, and client communication abilities.
Latitude Legal is partnering with a boutique San Diego-based law firm to find a rising litigation star. Are you a junior litigator ready to ditch the document dungeon and get into the courtroom? This is your chance to join a firm where you’re not just staffed, you’re trusted. The firm is seeking a California-licensed Litigation Associate with at least 2 years of experience, ideally in business or real estate litigation — but if you bring general litigation chops and the hunger to grow in these practice areas, they’re ready to invest in you. This firm punches above its weight, offering associates direct mentorship and the kind of meaningful responsibility typically reserved for much later in their careers. You won’t be siloed or relegated to back-end support work; but, instead, you’ll be a key player on active matters from day one. From crafting and researching dispositive motions to taking depositions and participating in trial prep, you’ll build courtroom-ready skills under the guidance of experienced partners who are committed to developing junior talent. And because this is an engagement role, you gain all the benefits of hands-on legal experience without locking yourself into a long-term commitment before you’re ready.
