LaSalle Network is partnering with a major food company looking to hire a Commercialization Manager based in the near northern suburbs of Chicago. This organization has delivered double-digit, profitable growth for more than twenty years and prides itself on its sustainability initiatives. The Commercialization Manager is a critical member of the PMO team and plays an essential role in driving the continued growth through consumer-focused innovation and operational improvement initiatives. This individual will lead cross-functional teams to deliver new products and business capabilities with excellence, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and organizational priorities. Commercialization Manager Responsibilities: - Lead high-impact innovation and operational projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with strategic brand and business objectives. - Drive cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain and Commercial teams to deliver innovation at pace while balancing speed-to-market, quality and compliance. - Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets and risk mitigation frameworks using best-in-class CPG project management methodologies and tools. - Champion agile ways of working, fostering experimentation, rapid learning and continuous improvement. - Engage and influence senior stakeholders by translating strategic objectives into actionable project plans and measurable deliverables. - Proactively identify project risks and barriers, leading mitigation strategies to maintain momentum and ensure delivery excellence. - Provide clear, tailored communication throughout the project lifecycle to audiences ranging from production teams to executive leadership. - Support and coach team members and managers through change, building innovation capability and organizational resilience. - Drive process excellence by sharing best practices and standardizing innovation processes across the business. - Ensure structured governance, reporting and coaching for innovation projects in alignment with business requirements. Commercialization Manager Requirements: - 10+ years of Project Management experience, ideally within CPG or a fast-paced consumer brand environment, with a strong track record in innovation delivery. - PMP or comparable Project Management certification preferred. - Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Demonstrated leadership of large-scale transformation, new product development or change management programs. - Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence at all organizational levels. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence key decisions and tailor messaging to diverse audiences. - Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with strategic leadership responsibilities. - Positive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for delivering business value through innovation.
