Role Description This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Freight Broker Sub-Agent to work with an Independent Landstar Agency. The role involves managing logistics and transportation solutions, coordinating shipments, negotiating rates, and building strong relationships with customers, carriers, and team members. The Sub-Agent will also identify potential business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The position fosters an independent yet collaborative work environment within Landstar's expansive network. Qualifications • Strong negotiation, sales, and customer relationship management skills • Experience in freight brokerage, logistics coordination, or transportation services • Proficiency in using communication platforms, industry tools, and CRM systems • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities • Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative partnerships • Knowledge of supply chain processes and transportation regulations is a plus • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills • Familiarity with Landstar systems and network (preferred but not required)
